Rabbit's dream

"Rabbit's Dream" is actually part of children's book project I was doing in LCC half a year ago. I wrote story my self and my brother Alex translated it into english. Then using lots of gouache and a bit of Photoshop I created few images. Surprisingly, today I found out that this one has been selected for publication in Images 33, the only jury-selected sourcebook for illustration in the UK. In 2009 is also going to be exhibited in London.

As usual the image came out spontaneously. The story is simple - three robots and alien are lost on Mars. Mars is lost in universe. Universe is lost in itself, so logically there is no exit and no entrance.

What a strange reality

This is my experiments with photoshop, tablet and patience. Last one was not enough. Also the image is not finished yet, I like it as it is, as it gives more space for imagination. 

This image is a sketch to my MA project "The shaman's trip through the three worlds". Following the play of imagination I allowed myself to create different kinds of characters, who connect to each other in chaotic game.
